Dhanagadi – Province 7

Dhangadhi , district headquarter of Kailali district and capital of Province 7 , is a major city in the far western region of Nepal. Tikapur Park, one of the biggest parks in Nepal, and Godha-Ghodi Tal (lake) are the most popular sites in Dhanagadi.

Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve , long suspension bridge of Mahakali River, Jhilmila Lake, Bedkot Lake, Bandatal, Shovatal and Vishnu Temple are the other places of tourist attraction in Kanchanpur district of the province .The river Karnali flows in the east and river Mahakali  in the west. The province  borders India in the west as well as south and Tibet (China) in the north.

Mt. Api , Mt. Saipal , Yokapahad and Mt. Lassa  are the major mountain peaks of this province.  Khaptad National Park and  Api Nampa Conservation Area are major conservation area of the province .

“Wild West”  located in the mid and far-western region of Nepal covers 24 districts and is a popular destination to explore natural and cultural resources.
