Kathmandu: Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) is in final preparation to organize NATTA convention, carnival 2015 and FAM Tour on September 25 this year. The theme of the 20th NATTA Convention is “Building Better Tourism with Renewed Strength”.
The Convention will be followed by NATTA’s annual special program – Carnival .Various travel professionals will participate in the NATTA carnival to promote their products.
NATTA will organize B2B during convention and familiarization tour to Chitwan and Pokhara for the participating international media representatives and tour operators.
According to NATTA President D.B. Limbu, tour operators and media representatives from more than 20 countries are expected to participate in the FAM tour.
The convention and carnival intends to attract a large number of tourists after the devastating earthquake of April 25 and May 12, 2015.
Udaya Nanayakkara , President of the Universal Federation of Travel Agents Association ( UFTAA) ,will be the keynote speaker of the convention.
Renowned French photographer and director of films Honey hunters of Nepal and Caravan Eric Valli and Chinese celebrity Ming-Yang Jiang will attend the NATTA Convention. Valli has been conferred with NATTA Sagarmatha Award 2015.
